in some mystical traditions you get to this kind of strange principle where you are confronted with the idea that reality and all you experience is a reflection of yourself. no matter how much resistance the ego throws up at ya, the fundamental principle is true, you shape your perception and influence upon your own reality.
Here's an experiment.
For a period of one week adopt the attitude of non judgemental thought. Oh yeah it sounds easy in principle, but man just try it, i know loads of advanced thinkers and psuedo-mystics who practice all their traditions, be it buddhist, wiccan, christian ect and they all hate america and george bush. in fact they got quite excited when a tall building was blown up in new york, just as some people got excited about a man in a cave and invaded a country. obviously these judgements are large and life is never black and white but a hazy bluish green. so for a week suspspend judgements about everything, stop spliting your universe into dualities. remember its your universe and you can cry if you want to but it's much more enjoyable if your laughing.

was driving down the parkway this morning and as usual i noticed all the carnage at the side of the road, when i got home i checked my e mail and the proffessor had written to me saying the flaming lips were asking people to dress as santa or aliens when they attend the live shows, no more furry animals, mmm, couldn't help but feel the irony. i hate cars, even though i drive one and have been the owner of one for several years, i absolutly wish govts. would sort public transport out, and then we can do away with the car, roads, maybe petrol and all that pollution and death. I have no problem if humans want to kill themselves of with cars but to kill animals with them is a horriffic act, cars have no place in nature, animals have no way to deal with this kind of metal death and we need to feel responsible. It's real hard to laugh at a little furry animal turned inside out just trying to cross the road.

hey capt'n, thats a nice piece of writing just there. nice entry. you cover so much in a way that is cosmic, fun, engagable & poigniant.
i like your description with out outcome, your point without process.
so realities me projected on me. cool.
so damn sick of being told by some pseudomystic that i need to go here or do this with my illusion. so bored with being quoted sutras at by nitwits who havnt spent a second outside the californian buddhist centre. tell me about buddhism after trauma has destroyed your faith. faith is the glue that bonds stupid ideas together.
thanks for todays byte.
