about 10 years ago while in london i read a fantastic book called the prestige by christopher priest, it was the story of two competing magicians and the obsession that drives them towards a terrible climax. today i saw the movie, and i have to say it was excellent. brilliantly adapted, acted and directed it was a real pleasure to see such a well crafted film.
