it's funny, a friend of mine from years ago cancelled me. he always argued with me as i was not on his team, a guardian reading bbbc loving socialist. therefore i question all the agendas they push, including the covid vax. he now has some sort of blood disorder and decided to post some very nasty stuff about me and my family because he is clinging to his beliefs and his need to be right.
a sad figure, and a sad ending to what could have been an interesting friendship but i guess when you are narrow minded and filled with hate and fear and loathing, this is how you respond.
so here is my own response:
simon- my son thinks for himself, i gave him that freedom. freedom from religion, politics and media. what i did give him was humility, compassion and idea of a spiritual relationship with the universe. he's not half jewish anymore than i am fully jewish or half a follower of zoroastrism. i am me and he is what he is. only people like you seem to need to give us these labels. i am sorry about your illness, i did warn you and sent you evidence but you chose to cling to what you believe.
i know you were upset as i couldn't take up your very kind offer and spend an evening with you but i was there to bury my father and look after my mum. i literally didn't have time, i didn't even see my best friends in brighton. occasionally i went out with my brothers friends who took me for dinner, and occasionally i went out with my son. but the period was pretty much me helping my mum. so either forgive me and stop your dumb attacks upon my family and go away gracefully or have the balls to speak with me directly.
maybe i can even help you.
