early morning swim, the waves are huge, and extra cold, i'm tossed around like a greek salad at an orgy. i'm three pages into the god part of the brain and already i have found several wrong assumptions. i can see why rationalist like to deny the existence of god, it's because they have always operated from the confines of their brain. now i'm not saying god is not in the brain either, the implicit and explicit are both connected. what i find amazing is these people have a very one dimensional and somewhat fundamental view of what god could be. maybe i just read to much sci fi or have taken to many mind expanding substances i must continue reading though to assertion if the book has any elements that i can agree with, it's a good stimulating challenge and i am sure that the writer will redeem themselves.
i've finished reading, 'memoirs of a geezer' jah wobbles interesting autobiography, the guy comes from the same part of london as i do, however he stayed there much longer and became part of the neighbor hood whereas i escaped as soon as i could walk.
the book is very honest, i actually liked his writing but was left slightly under-whelmed. his character assassinations are quite funny and enlightening, peter gabrial does not come off looking that good. i think jah wobble has stayed in that english class structure and looked through the world through that, it's hard not to in the uk but his working class roots shine through his writing. there's some interesting tales and information on his base playing. there's also a nice spiritual bent to his outlook that i enjoyed.
