8 nights in bali at some posh hotel / spa type place with luxurious breakfasts so i arrived back very happy and relaxed although in debt. fuck stress, it always finds its way back. however i am very glad i got the chance to get away and i really love bali, it appeals to my inner topical hindi laid back persona, sarongs, swimming pools, expresso martinis by the ocean with a bob dylan cover band, lounging around the pool listening to podcasts and snoozing whenever i want.  the aesthetic of bali is perfect and having travelled the globe bali has the cadence that matches my inner vibration. i always stay out of city centres and this trip was no exception, we found a lovely town called sanur which is quiet and yet has everything we need, restaurants, bars, ice cream places and to be honest we didn't feel inclined to go out much at all. part of me want to relocate there and make it home. i could do it, but the physical move would be fucking overwhelming. besides i'm getting into sydney at the moment, exploring it's nooks and crannies and discovering it's new fresh vibe, which although is still kinda superficial and expensive is quite spectacular.
